Training Programs for Parents-Care Givers

According to a study published in medical journal ‘The Lancet” on August, 29, 2018 India has the maximum number of children- around 1.15 crore- who have developmental disabilities. Without appropriate support especially training and treatment often limit these children to have educational and social opportunities. Care givers training program empowers caregivers to handle, care and develop milestones of children with disabilities with much more confidence.
ICD-AHS conducts the following workshop with active supports of associated organizations all over India throughout the year.

Onsite Workshops

1. Title of the workshop: Pathways to Normalcy
   Duration: 2 days
   Language of Instruction: Regional and English
   Participation Fee: 
   Rs 3000/- for single Parent / care provider
   Rs 5000/- for both Parents / care providers
   Fee includes Reading Materials, Hands on Training, and Certificate of Participation  
   Eligibility: Open to all parents and caregivers
   Number of intake: Not more than 50  
   Venue: All over India


2. Title of the Workshop: Scientific Parenting of a child with Developmental Delay
   Duration: 2 days
   Language of Instruction: Regional and English
   Participation Fee:
   Rs 3000/- for single Parent / care provider
   Rs 5000/- for both Parents / care provider
   Fee includes Reading Materials, Hands on Training, and Certificate of Participation
   Eligibility: Open to all parents and caregivers

Online Progressive Developmental Training Programs for Parents and Care Givers

Parents or Care Givers, who are unable to attend our centre in New Delhi, can avail our online progressive developmental training programs for their children. The online progressive developmental training programs are specially designed for parents / care givers to support children with developmental delay or developmental disorders.

Language of Instruction
We provide the course materials or the treatment/ therapy program in English. You can always translate it to your mother language with the help of Google Translator

Fee includes Consultation + Review Consultation + Periodic Assessments + Assessment Analysis Report + Intervention Plan + Therapy Program + Pictorial Presentation + Instructional Videos + Reading Materials + Need Based Video Consultation and Discussion.    

Eligibility: Parents or Care Givers of a child with developmental delay or disorder
 
Duration of the Program: Till the child achieves the milestones or one year duration

Fee:  For convenience of payment, the whole program has been divided into 5 (Five) levels based on Functional Ability with respect to Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS),Manual Ability Classification System ( MACS), Functional Mobility Scale (FMS), Vision Function Classification System ( VFCS), Communication Function Classification System (CFCS), Eating and Drinking Classification System (EDACS), Mental Ability, etc

Duration of one Level= 3-6 Months

Payment System
Total Payment for one level program for any one developmental condition: Rs 7500/-
First instalment of Rs 4000/- at the beginning of the program
Second instalment of Rs 3500/- after 3 months (Half way of the program)

The child is promoted to the next level based on assessment through international assessment scales / forms. Baseline information will guide us to make an appropriate level of function to start the treatment program. Payment will be taken according to the present functional level of the child.
